new Student E-mail is Here!
* ToroMail, is located at toromail.azwestern.edu. Please don't be alarmed when
you see the
new address: toromail.azwestern.edu.
* Your ToroMail account will be
automatically configured in WebAdvisor as your E-mail Address.
* All official college information
will be sent ONLY to your ToroMail and not longer be sent to Gmail,
Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL or other email providers. This includes information such as:
| - Financial Aid disbursement info | - Special events announcements | - Early registration info |
| - News from your instructors | - Important AWC news and announcements |
If you are already using your toro.azwestern.edu email
account, you don't need to do anything more to use ToroMail - you are already
setup. You'll simply start accessing your mail via the ToroMail site.
If you are using Blackboard, or logging into AWC
computers using your ADROOT account you also already have a ToroMail account

Please be aware that AWC has been targeted in a phishing scam. A number of fake security e-mails have been found circulating. These e-mails can look and sound very official, but are fraudulent. These e-mails either request that you send your username and password to an e-mail address provided in the message, or encourage you to log in to a site that appears to be the AWC WebMail page.
Here are two tips to help keep you safe:
1) Remember that no one with AWC will ever ask you for your password, in person, over the phone, or most especially via an e-mail message.2) When visiting the AWC WebMail page take note of the address presented in the location bar of your web browser. It should show:
https://webmail.azwestern.edu
or
https://atmail.azwestern.edu
or
https://mobile.azwestern.edu
or
https://toromail.azwestern.edu
If the address is ANYTHING else DO NOT attempt to log in to the site. If you do, you will be giving the "bad guys" your username and password.
If you suspect that you might have logged in to such a site, please go to https://accounts.azwestern.edu to change your password, or speak with a lab aide, if you are in the ACCL, or contact the AWC Help Desk at (928) 317-5892 for assistance.
If you encounter a suspect e-mail message you can forward it to IT-Security@azwestern.edu, or simply ignore and delete the message.
